Free online job fair to support job losses in airline industry

As with a lot of people we have been shocked to hear the news about Flybe. The airline industry has suffered huge losses over the last year or so, including Thomas Cook and Monarch, to name a couple. We now face even more difficult times at the height of the coronavirus threat.

In light of recent times, we will be holding a free online jobs fair from 10:00am – 4:00pm on Friday 20th March for those employees still searching for jobs.

This is open to the entire aviation industry, so if you are still searching for a new job off the back of an airline collapsing, or you’re just looking for a new role, we welcome you to join us on Friday and we really hope we can help you find something.

The job fair is free to attend for all, and will also combat concerns surrounding the coronavirus, as you won’t need to leave your home to attend. All you need is a device and a wi-fi connection.

We will also host guest speakers at the event on the day, to discuss an array of topics around the industry and job searching.

Dave Capper, Managing Director at Aviation Job Search said:

We are deeply shocked at the extent of job losses we’ve seen over the last year within the aviation industry. We want to try and get as many people back into work as possible to ensure the industry continues to thrive.”

“Hosting the job fair online also helps us to combat any concerns surrounding coronavirus. We’ve put alot of time and effort into arranging this free event over the last few days following the Flybe collapse so this is a fantastic opportunity for those who suffered a job loss to get back on their feet in a new role.”
